Devotional Inspirations
Adversity: We all know the feeling of disappointment. Life appears to be going well, then with little or no warning, adversity strikes. Our hearts are challenged to be strong and believe in what seems to be impossible at the moment. We are shocked, numb to the immediate impact of reality. We wait for someone to shake us and tell us that life is playing a joke or that what is happening is not true. Finally we are forced to face our circumstances and the fact that adversity has struck. We may be tempted to think that God has left us alone to go through the storm alone, we tell our selves that “ He is God” couldn’t he have stopped this from happening? When ever adversity comes, remember God is in it with you. He has promised never to leave you or abandon you. (Hebrews 13:5b). When trials impact your life. God is standing there beside you. Be bless. Linda

Hope: As we look at the situation the world is in today, the violence, rumor of war, and wars taking place today. Many of you are facing situation that seems beyond your control. You wonder how you will handle it. You have prayed and diligently sought God, but your need, at least from your prospective has remained unmet. How do you handle shattered dreams? Does God have an answer? Does he care when you hurt and struggle against the pressures of life? How should you handle times of spiritual silence when you feel as though he is standing at a distance and not going to answer your prayers according to your expectations? The best way to understand God’s mind is by studying the principles found in his word. Be bless. Linda

Looking for Fulfillment: Fulfillment in material things does not guarantee satisfaction of the hunger that resides in the inner soul. You see, true fulfillment does not come as a result of owning a large home, driving a new car, or having money in the bank. True fulfillment comes as a result of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Some of the richest people in the world are the loneliest. They use their money to travel and buy their hearts desires, but still the search for true happiness continues. Many believe that true fulfillment is a financial merger away. What they really need is a heart and soul merger with Jesus Christ.Be bless. Linda

When faced with test or situations that seems impossible, look back and see all the situations and circumstances that God had brought you through, and you know that he is well able to bring you through again. This is where Faith is a fact, but faith is also an act. You see, Jehosaphat declared exactly to whom he was praying, and recognized what God had done for him in times past, he then stated some examples of God’s power in 2 Chronicles 20:9, he stood on the word of God. God answers fervent prayers. His word says the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much. Prayer that is based on his word.

When you pray, pray the word of God, he tells us to put him in remembrance of his word. And 1 kings 6:12 tells us the Lord watches over his word to perform it, and Jeremiah 1:12 tells us that God will hasten his word to perform it.Be bless. Linda

Victory is learning how to overcome an enemy that is already defeated. Prayer, Fasting, Hearing and Believing the word of the Lord, and Praise are strategies God wants us to have in our lives. Lets remember whenever you face a battle and it seems there is no way out, don’t lean to your own understanding, and be bound by fear, put these strategies into action and you will not be defeated. I pray that your hearts have been bless. Linda

God is a God of purpose and principles. God has the power to meet our every need, he has the power to heal, he has the power to deliver and he has the power to set free, all we have to do is trust and believe in him. Usually when the trials of life come, we are faced with the temptation to quit. Discouragement is one of Satan’s favorite forms of attack. He believes that if he can discourage us, we will give up and turn away from God’s will or plan for our lives. Never give up! Trust God to the end, and you will see his goodness a reality in your life. Begin with prayer, let your needs be made known to God. Prayer is a life style, not just an activity in which you participate. Jesus taught his disciples to pray. When you feel overwhelmed by the circumstances of life, prayer is the one activity that changes the direction of your mind and heart. It places your focus on God who is the only source of hope and truth. Be bless. Linda

Sometimes, unfair things happen. A relationship doesn't work out, or a friend betrays us. Maybe you worked really hard, but you didn't get the position you deserved. Life is not always fair. The good news is that even though life is not always fair, we serve a God who is fair. He is a God of justice. He sees every wrong that's ever been done to you. He sees every person that's ever hurt you, every unfair situation. If you will stay in faith and not get bitter, God has promised He will pay you back for every injustice that's ever been done to you. He said He would take what was meant for your harm, and He'll turn it around and use it to your advantage.

The great thing about God is if you keep the right attitude, if you'll wait for Him, He'll not only bring you out, He'll bring you out better off than you were before. Be encouraged today that God is for you! He is working behind the scenes on your behalf. Praise Him and thank Him for showing His justice in your life today. God bless.

Is there someone in your life who has wronged you? Maybe a family member didn’t treat you right, or a boss was unfair. The Bible tells us that we need to release and forgive others so God can forgive us. If we harbor unforgiveness or bitterness towards anyone, God cannot forgive us. He cannot even hear our prayers. Forgiveness starts with a decision. It doesn’t mean you excuse another person’s behavior; it only means that you are releasing the debt they owe you. Forgiveness puts God in charge of that situation instead of you. A true sign that you have forgiven is that when you think about the other person, or see them somewhere, you are at peace. The Bible says that we should also pray for those who may be against us. Pray that God will change that person’s heart. As you release the debt of others, God will release you, and you will walk in freedom and peace in every area of your life. God bless.

Your imagination is extremely powerful. God created you as a visual being. Choosing the right images in your mind's eye is important because your life will move in the direction of your thoughts. The way you see yourself in your mind's eye, over time, will drop down into your heart and become your reality. If you'll create a picture in your imagination of something you want, or a dream coming to pass and keep it in front of you, then you will move in that direction. I encourage you to get up every morning and picture yourself succeeding! Picture yourself healthy and whole! Picture yourself and your family not only being blessed, but being a bigger blessing to others. If you'll keep the right images in front of you, and always submit yourself to the Lord through prayer and thanksgiving, you'll move forward into the life of victory God has promised you. Be bless.

When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are free from condemnation! Is there something that you feel guilty about? If you have repented, the Bible says He takes your sin and throws it as far as the east is from the west. He casts your sins into the sea of forgetfulness. God actually chooses to forget your sins! That means your sins are completely removed. In fact, they aren’t even yours anymore. Don’t let the enemy dig up your past or try to make you feel guilty for something that happened a long time ago, or even yesterday. The enemy is called the “accuser of the brethren”, and he works overtime to bring you down with false accusations. Be confident that God doesn’t remember your past. You are free from condemnation through the blood of Jesus Christ. The next time the enemy brings up your past, declare that you are free from condemnation in Jesus’ Name! Be bless.

Your time is coming! The dreams and desires, the things you want to accomplish, the situations you want to see changed will happen. Just because it has taken a long time, or because you’ve tried and failed, don’t give up on those dreams. Don’t be complacent about pursuing what God has placed in your heart. I encourage you today — get your fire back! It may be taking a long time, but God is a faithful God. No matter how long it’s been, no matter how impossible it looks, if you’ll stay in faith, your time is coming. Every dream that’s in your heart, every promise that has taken root, God not only put it there, but He has every intention of bringing it to pass. Start declaring today, “My time is coming… God is working behind the scenes on my behalf… I will fulfill my destiny… I will fulfill the plan God has for my life!” As you declare and expect and wait for the appointed time, your faith will grow. Your hope will grow. And you’ll step into the destiny God has in store for you! Be bless!!
Lookin Forward
You life will go in the direction of your most dominant thoughts. When your thoughts are focused on the past, it hinders your growth. Your thoughts of the past hold you back, causing you to relive those events over and over again. But when you look straight ahead at the future God has planned for you, then you can move forward. It's just like driving a car. If your rearview mirror were as big as your windshield, you wouldn't get very far. You would just sit there looking at what's behind you. But when you fix your eyes on your future, the past disappears. Choose today to look straight ahead by forgiving those who have hurt you in your life. And it doesn't matter if it was years ago or just yesterday. Choose today to look straight ahead and move forward into the life of blessing God has in store for you!
God is always there.
Things don't always work out the way we want them to, or the way we think they will. Sometimes we don't even see it coming. We get hit with some form of pain out of nowhere leaving us feeling desperate and helpless. That's the way life is. Still, it makes us wonder how God can let these things happen to us. How God can just stand by and watch us suffer. Where is God when it really hurts? Maybe God is actually closer than we think. Maybe it's when we're in these situations, where everything seems to be falling apart, that God gets an opportunity to remind us of how much he really loves us.

You may be facing a situation in your family, your health or your marriage that just looks impossible. It would be easy to allow circumstances like this to steal your joy and cause you to go through life with a defeated attitude. But the Bible says that as long as you have faith, your situation is subject to change! So try this beginning tomorrow morning. The first thing you get up, quote Psalm 118:24 to yourself: "This is the day that the Lord has made." The Lord gave you this day for a specific reason, so enjoy it and live it in His strength! You have to be determined to enjoy your life; it has to be a daily decision because only you can choose to enjoy the things that God has given you. Look at your life through eyes of faith, and thank God for each day. God bless.

Many people pray very intently and seriously for things that never come to pass—then they realize later what a blessing it was that God did not answer their prayer! We can only see today, one moment at a time, but God knows how today’s situations will impact us tomorrow, next week, or even ten years from now! so He knows what's best for me, and when you look back you can see how all things have worked for your good.” What a perfect example of something that is easy to forget—that sometimes the best thing that can happen to you is the exact opposite of what you want to happen. God knows the past and the future, and He always has the sequence of events in your life in perfect order. As God said in Isaiah, everything He says will come to pass, so make sure that you’re following Him. Be bless.
