Linda Flowers, member of Kings Highway Apostolic Church, Yonkers NY. I am saved, sanctified and Holy Ghost filled with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the spirit of God gives the utterance according to Acts 2:4. I am redeemed by the shed blood of Jesus Christ, and I am here to give him the glory, honor and praise for He is worthy of it all. I believe in being taught the Word of God based on the Apostolic Doctrine which is the teaching by the apostles the way they were taught by Jesus Christ and the way they applied the teaching and the instructions of Jesus. It tells how the early church was created. Beginning with the "Day of Pentecost" in the book of Acts when God poured out his Holy Spirit on the 120 that were in the upper room. Hence forward the apostles went out to all nations preaching and baptizing them in the name of Jesus according to Acts 2:38. Thus the begining of the "Great Commission." Thus the church is "built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone." (Ephesians 2:20)
